I would like some alternative answers to working only as an ESL Teacher in Thailand. It's frustrating at times because it seems that the only option 99.5% of the time is becoming an teacher. I think teaching is a wonderful job to have and it's rewarding most of the time. However there are times in life that you would like other options.
When I ask other foreigners with more experience living in Thailand, they often suggest that it's better to get hired by a western company before coming to Thailand in the first place.
I think this is a good way to getting more answers and solutions from those whom have been down that path before.
I would also like to get some Thai companies involved by getting them to post employment available to foreigners already living and established in Thailand through marriage or other circumstances.
I welcome each reader that wants to join in and become involve with sharing his or her hard earned experience and knowledge with being a long term Expat in Thailand. I also welcome Thai companies to join in and post positions for Expats needed in their company.
